We fully funded the Kickstarter in 2 weeks, and my emails had the highest click-through rating  with her copywriting talent, compared to the emails I wrote myself.

The Just Me Project

Why did Amy Paine reach out to Storyhouse Fifteen?

When Amy connected with Lindsay, she wasn't even sure what she needed. She had invested a year of her life capturing the stories of 104 women. She wanted to understand how they defined and experienced beauty, and as she set out to launch her Kickstarter Project, she was afraid that no one would want to support a photo book.

Amy felt overwhelmed and a bit rudderless. She knew she needed someone to help her set up her Kickstarter campaign, but she wasn't clear on how to tell her story, and she was incredibly afraid of
investing money in creating the campaign - only to have it fail.

WHAT WILL YOU GET?

WHAT WILL YOU GET?

Access to a professional conversion copywriter who gets your voice, your value, and your brand essence

Weekly check-in calls + in-depth follow-up emails on suggested action steps

Intensive copy support* (may include support on copy editing, rewrites, email campaigns, web pages, social posts). *Does not equate to full rewrites or copy creation

Unlimited email support to answer any quick questions not requiring intensive copy support and in-depth reviews

How did Storyhouse Fifteen help?

First, Lindsay interviewed Amy to peer deep into Amy's WHY. Lindsay pored over interviews Amy had conducted with each woman and analyzed each of those stories to uncover pain points, emotions and the outcomes they had achieved.

Lindsay then created a Story Guide that included key language for the Just Me Project: mission, values, messaging examples, FAQs, benefits and features, and strategies for a
successful Kickstarter campaign.

From there, Lindsay and Amy met offline for copy coaching, and Lindsay guided Amy in writing a successful email campaign that drove the bulk of conversions. As the launch grew closer, Lindsay met with Amy to continue to optimize
the campaign. She watched how people responded to emails and social posts and made targeted suggestions for follow-up communications.

Where is Amy Paine now?

After implementing Lindsay's copy into the Kickstarter campaign and working with Lindsay to set up target pledge goals, Amy launched her Kickstarter Campaign and within two days, she was highlighted as a Kickstarter "Project We Love," an award given to campaigns that are clear, captivating, and compelling.

Within 10 days, Amy had met her Kickstarter goal, set at $7.5K. And by the end of the project period, Amy had reached $10,221 in funding - 136% beyond her original goal.

With her success, Amy is continuing to expand the Just Me Project, hosting online conversations around the ways we define beauty and creating a lead magnet quiz to draw more people into the dialogue.

"I'm so thankful for Lindsay. I honestly don't know if my project would have been as successful without her expertise."
