One of my favorite parts about the sacred bundle is that tribal leaders didn’t just tell these stories once.
Instead, they unwrapped the sacred bundle again and again – at special events, ceremonies, and by the fireside. They pulled their tribal community in close and made it a ritual to retell the stories so often that they became ingrained in the hearts and minds of the youngest and the oldest members of the tribe.
The tribal leaders knew that if they were going to preserve the sacred, talking about it must become a habit.
This is the same for you, too.
You’ve got to share them on repeat, over and over and over again so that your team and your audience remain aligned and crystal clear on the two most important questions of any brand story:
1. Who are you?
2. Who will others become when they join you?
Once you’ve created your Sacred Bundle, the challenge will be to preserve it with a constant flow of Tiny Stories.
And you can only do that by practicing the three Habits of Story:
Using your Sacred Bundle, you’ll want to practice this habit every day or once every week and ask yourself: What is one thing I OBSERVED this week that reinforced my:
Beliefs
Legacy
Calling
Community

Maybe you’ll observe, listen, or do something that reinforces every aspect of your sacred bundle.
Maybe you’ll just observe, listen, or do something that reinforces just one of those aspects.
What matters most is that you’re practicing the habits and discovering how it all fits inside your sacred bundle.
Your observations become stories -- as do the things you hear and the things you do.
And those stories turn into connections and relationships.
And those connections and relationships turn into a brand, a business, or a culture that others want to join.
